EnteroGuard ensures the maximum survival of probiotic bacteria to the small intestines, and hence enhances their effectiveness. Jarro-Dophilus EPS is ideal for traveling when refrigeration is not readily available. Capsules are individually blister packed to help ensure shelf stability.
Jarro-Dophilus EPS is a Stable-Dophilus probiotic due to its shelf life stability at room temperature and its enteric coating delivery system, which protects the beneficial probiotic strains while in transit through the stomach’s acidic environment. The delivery system ensures that a maximum number of viable cells are delivered into the intestinal tract, where they can fully exert their beneficial effects. The strains in Jarro-Dophilus EPS are selected from the following 4 genera:
Lactobacillus, Bifidobacterium, Lactococcus and Pediococcus. Probiotic strains such as B. longum BB536, L-rhamnosus R0011 and L. helveticus R0052 are well characterized and have been shown to have the ability to interact, via multiple mechanisms of action, with the intestinal tract and the microbial ecosystem within it. These strains have been clinically shown to have a positive influence on the composition of the intestinal microflora, promote intestinal health and support immune response.
Other Ingredients
Potato starch, magnesium stearate (vegetable source) and vitamin C. Vegetarian capsule consists of hydroxypropylmethylcellulose and an aqueous-based enteric coating. Contains: Dairy (milk) and soy (in trace amounts). No wheat, no gluten, no egg, no fish/shellfish, no peanuts/tree nuts. 5 Billion viable cells per capsule at time of consumption, under recommended storage conditions, and within Best Used Before Date.
Suggested Use
Take 1 capsule up to 4 times per day with water or juice, preferably on an empty stomach, or as directed by your qualified healthcare professional.
Warnings
Storage Instructions: Jarro-Dophilus EPS is room temperature stable and does not require refrigeration. Refrigeration will, however, extend the shelf-life. Avoid temperatures above 77?F (25?C). Keep out of the reach of children.

Unbelievable -It works, On Jul 22, 2018;Never thought much of probiotics until a young doctor told me ( I am in my early 60s) to try it to combat my acid stomach.Rarely a week would go by that I did not take Zantac once or twice to calm my stomach down.Immediately after taking this product ..only 1 capsule in the morning .. I noticed that no further acidity either at night or early upon awakening in my stomach. I am not kidding here. I can’t stop singing the praises of this product only now when I finish these i’m going to the Ultra one… who knows maybe it can get even better. I’m just thankfully free of pain I’ve had since childhood

Best Dophilus! Wonderful !!! On Jul 12, 2018;Been using these probiotics for 1.5 months, it works really great. Keeps me regular. It’;s wonderful in eliminating gas and bloating so far. Will definitely continue to use it and recommend to friends. I notice that candida situation also improved after taking EPS. Really glad to find it. work better than Now GR-8.
