Acetyl-L-Carnitine (ALC) is a modified amino acid that supports cellular energy production by assisting in the transport of fat into the mitochondria where it is converted into ATP (cellular fuel). ALC is a highly bioavailable form of L-Carnitine that can cross the blood-brain barrier, where it helps to manage oxidative damage, supports mitochondrial function and helps to maintain normal neurotransmitter activity. Clinical studies suggest that ALC helps to maintain optimal neurological health.
Other Ingredients
Cellulose (capsule), magnesium stearate (vegetable source) and stearic acid (vegetable source). Not manufactured with yeast, wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg, fish, shellfish or tree nut ingredients. Produced in a GMP facility that processes other ingredients containing these allergens. Natural color variation may occur in this product.
Suggested Use
Take 1-2 capsules 1 to 3 times daily as needed.

Great product! On the 21st of June 2016; This is first time using this amino acid. It works very well and I am alway happy with the NOW brand for quality and value.

Give it a try if you already haven’t. On the 1st of November 2016; First time using Now products because they were more expensive. I have to say that you DO get what you pay for. After taking the Now ALC for a few weeks and comparing to the other brand…HUGE DIFFERENCE. I take this with the Now L-Carnitine before workouts. My energy level and morale improved. Glad to be out of the funk.

Does help with circulatory system. On the 25th Month of August 2017; Take this before you workout on an empty stomach and you should be able to work up to a sweat more easily than without it, does this in fact help with the efficiency of fat burning? sure. . . . if your diet is on point and your hormonal system is optimum.
