NOW Ascorbyl Palmitate is a highly stable form of Ascorbic Acid, or Vitamin C. Ascorbyl Palmitate is soluble in both water and lipid, and this dual solubility allows it to be incorporated into cell membranes where it helps to protect them from oxidative damage. While it possesses all of the antioxidant properties of Vitamin C, it can also more easily penetrate the blood-brain barrier, facilitating the extension of its antioxidant protection to the brain and nervous system.
Other Ingredients
Cellulose (capsule), rice flour, magnesium stearate (vegetable source) and silica.
Suggested Use
Take 1 capsule 1 to 2 times daily, preferably with food.
Warnings
For adults only. Ascorbyl Palmitate may increase iron bioavailability. Consult physician if pregnant/nursing, taking medication, or have a medical condition (especially an iron storage disorder). Keep out of reach of children. Do not eat freshness packet. Keep in bottle. Natural color variation may occur in this product. Store in a cool, dry place after opening.

Fantastic!! On Oct 29, 2016;I bought this product to supplement the vitamin c I already take and noticed a fantastic side-effect! I no longer have any varicose vein pain. I’ve been able to stop taking the all the homeopathics and various herbals for varicose veins and simply use Ascorbyl Palmitate. Worked really fast as well…. I don’t know if it would have the same effect for others but its inexpensive enough to be worth a try.

Excellent Source of C, On Aug 17, 2016;My husband and I have been using this form of C daily for several years. Since it is fat soluble, it seems to stick with us better, providing healthy protection. We also do not have to worry about the liquid-filled capsules dissolving easily in our stomachs, which used to be a problem with hard-packed pills.
