Rhodiola (Rhodiola rosea) is indigenous to the Arctic and Alpine regions of Europe, Asia and America and has long been used as a tonic by many cultures, including the Ancient Greeks. Rhodiola is generally known as an "adaptogen", a term which refers to any agent possessing the ability to support the body’s natural capacity to adapt to life’s changing conditions. NOW Rhodiola is standardized to 3% Total Rosavins and min. 1% Salidroside.
Other Ingredients
Cellulose (capsule), cellulose powder, silica and magnesium stearate (vegetable source). Not manufactured with wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg, fish, shellfish or tree nut ingredients. Produced in a GMP facility that processes other ingredients containing these allergens.
Suggested Use
Take 1 capsule 1 to 2 times daily on an empty stomach.

I swear by it! On the 27th Month of May 2017; It is a supplement I can’t live without! It gives me mental and physical energy when I need it the most. I take it before workouts and I have more stamina. I also take it when I work long and stressful hours in the office. It makes me calmer and more optimistic. Another good Rhodiola product is by Thorne Research.

Best I’ve had so far. On the 16th Month of May 2017; I’ve used Rhodiola in place of my Zoloft for years now. I highly recommend this to anyone with depression and anxiety. Obviouly speak with you ND first before starting it but I have to say it is the best stuff yet on the market.

On to healthy adrenal glands. On the 20th Month of May 2018; I am suffering from Addison’s disease after stopping taking Rhinocort, which was only discovered after two months. Fortunately my dietitian had noticed my adrenal glands needed repair before I stopped, so I started taking Rhodiola. Recoverey is s l o w, but obvious. Hair is starting to grow again, I am regaining some energy. Fortunately I do not need hydrocortison so far and hope to keep it that way. Thank you, dietitian! Thank you Now Foods Rhodiola!

Good dosage level. On the 28th Month of March 2016; Before finding Now brand Rhodiola, we were using 2-3 pills of more expensive brands. This dose is the sure bet. It helps level out the blood sugar (not as hungry or shaky) and elevate mental clarity for us; we notice the difference on non-use days.
